Why This Site?
This website was created as a "home-base" for information about designing and teaching courses in higher education in a way that strives to be accessible for all learners.
What Can You Do?
Take the Course: We have created a massive open online course (MOOC) on the Canvas Network platform to provide professional development for anyone who wants to learn more about what they can do to help all learners.
The course first ran as a live facilitated 6-week session that ended in April 2016.
A self-paced version is available now at Canvas.net.
The course is licensed creative commons, CC-BY-SA. The course was created by faculty and staff at SUNY Empire State College and SUNY Buffalo State College. The creation of the course is funded by a State University of New York (SUNY) Innovative Instruction Technology Grant (IITG) titled "An Open SUNY Accessibility MOOC for Faculty and Staff Development: Creating Online Courses that Provide Access for All".
